About Us

Located at 237 Route 7 S, Minor Funeral and Cremation Center sits in the heart of Milton. With one portico, beautiful landscaping and a large waterfall in the foyer, we offer a calming and relaxing atmosphere throughout.

With a facility as large as ours, we're able to host well over 100 attendees. We also offer ample parking with 50 assigned spaces—and room for more. Enter our parking lot directly from the road—we have our own entrance, separate from the Hannaford next to us. Our funeral home is also handicap accessible.

Our property is so spacious, we are often asked to accommodate community organizations' car washes, to which we happily oblige.

Whether you choose a traditional funeral service or a simple cremation service, our facilities can be adjusted for the service. Our building also has an awning—in case you need to drop someone off at the front when it's raining.

We're the only funeral home in the area large enough to have an events center. If you'd like to host a catered gathering before or after a service in the events center, we work with several third-party caterers offering customizable menus.

From a breakfast buffet to a cake-and-coffee break to a seafood dinner, just let us know what you'd like! If that happens to be grandma's blueberry pie or your favorite uncle's chowder, we'll take a treasured family recipe and make it the centerpiece of the meal.

Our on-site crematory project is now completed, making us the only funeral home with an on-site crematory in Chittenden County. Due our crematory, Bear Trap Crematory, being encompassed within the funeral home, we are able to truly say your loved one never leaves the Funeral Home.
