Susan and Oscar:
Please accept my sincere sympathy and condolences at the passing of your Mom. I will keep you in my prayers. You do not know me, but I knew your Mom. My parents lived across the street from Helen and your stepfather on Loubier Drive for many years. My family spent a lot of time at my folks home and we all got to know your Mom. When my Dad died in 1986, Helen was a great comfort to my Mom. My parents were Joe and Jinny Hethcoat and they loved your Mom saying she was one of the kindest, most caring persons they knew. They said she had a very welcoming and friendly personality. After my Mom died in 2007, Helen and I stayed in contact for quite a whiIe and I enjoyed her visits and company immensely. It was my pleasure to have known your mother.
I hope your memories will give you comfort. I would like to think she is up there getting re-acquainted with all those who have passed before her that she loved and that loved her, including my folks.
Sandy (Hethcoat) Barrett
