Later she shared a beautiful home with Harvey on River Road in Fairfax, VT. at anytime you could see her working in her vegetable garden, or with all the flowers in her yard and along their walkways, then there were endless hours of mowing her lawn and on those sunny days always fresh laundry on the line.
Although she was not fond of large events she did enjoy spending time with her family over a small intimate meal or other special family occasions. For many years she enjoyed crocheting. Many a new baby was warmed by one of her beautiful blankets. Also she spent endless hours watching the birds at her feeders looking up new arrivals she didn’t know in her bird books.
She also enjoyed watching Red Sox games, reading the news paper and eating chocolate ice cream. Decorating was her specialty inside her Fairfax apartment. Anyone that visited got to experience a home decorated with so much love for every holiday and season. Just outside the front door during the summer you could find her working in her flower garden or hanging our Country‘s flag daily. She also enjoyed playing cards, yatzee and bingo.
