Obituary of Michael Andre Wells Bakersfield, VT--Michael Andre Wells, 67, passed away August 4, 2021 at University of Vermont Medical Center. Michael was born on June 15, 1954 in Alameda, CA, the Son of Harold Wells and Betty (Ayers). He married Sue Ralston at The Old Ski Lodge at Lion's Head Trail in Montana. Michael served in the Navy after finishing High School. Later he had several jobs and eventually acquired a fantastic job at Yellowstone National Park as the Warehouse Manager for Hamilton Stores, and worked there for many, many years. He served years of dedication to the Town of West Yellowstone as a Volunteer Fireman, EMT and Fire Chief. He was also employed by Pratt and Whitney as the RSCN Continuous Improvement Leader. When Hamilton's went out of business, Michael moved to his home state of Vermont. He thoroughly enjoyed farm life, driving and playing on tractors, and enjoyed all of the farm animals. He had just returned home from a wonderful visit to Idaho, visiting all of his kids, grandchildren and his great granddaughter. He was so happy to be with them. Michael was a very intelligent man who loved electronics. He is very much missed and loved. He is survived by: his spouse Sue, his children, David Wells, Stayce Crouch, Merie Rose, Michael Meadors, Melissa Coultas, Ben Dugger, David Dugger his grandchildren; Ashton, Zachery, Amara, Michelle, Mike, Eloise, Jazmin, James, Benjamin, Madilyn,; his great-grandchildren, Layla Mae, Harper, Alice, Aurora; his Siblings Randee Wells, David Wells, Sandy Wells Hall, Karen Wells. He is predeceased by his father, Harold Wells and his mother, Betty Wells No services are planned at this time.
