Wayne Lafayette

Wayne Ashley Lafayette passed away August 30, 2024. He was 78 years old. He was predeceased by his wife Mary Gordon Phelps on April 29, 2022. He was predeceased by his mother and father Douglas and Jane Mayville Lafayette, by Mary's mother and father Harry and Frances Ladd Phelps, and by his two favorite cats Uncle Buck; 20 years old and Lucy; 16 years old.

Wayne is survived by his son John and wife Bianca, John's two son's Colton and Justin, Special cousin Mary Parizo, a special daughter Lesa Tourville, long time friends Allen Beaupre, Lewis Peltier, Steve Gordon from Milton, Roger LeClaire from Swanton, Joe Fitzsimmons from St. Albans, and many more special friends.

Wayne would also like to thank Michelle, Addie and all of the staff at Bayada.

A Graveside Service will be held for family and friends in the Grand Isle Cemetery on September 12, 2024 at 11:00am.
