Timothy Bleau

July 26, 1955 — June 17, 2023

Essex

Essex, VT- Timothy Allen Bleau (Tippy, Tip), 67, passed away at his home on June 17, 2023, following a battle with diabetes and later kidney & heart disease.

He was born on July 26, 1955, in Burlington, VT, a son of Sherman W. Bleau and Phyllis Manning Bleau.

On June 25, 2005, Timothy married Dianne Caples Latterell in Burlington and spent the last 17 loving years together.

Tim attended Burlington High School. His working years were cut short for medical reasons but spent most of that time at a work/wear and textile service called Coyne Textile Company.

Timothy was a storyteller with a fun & joking personality. Even as a child he would get his brother Sherman in trouble just so he wasn’t punished and sent to his room alone. Tim’s brother Chip would help him build race car models until the wee morning hours only to heat them up and crush them. When asked why after all the hard work, his response…He got in a crash. He loved smashing cars (old & new), had a passion for NASCAR and was a Dale Earnhardt Sr. fan. Most recently he was a fan of Denny Hamlin & Kyle Larson. With somewhat of a hate of losing he would change his favorite to whomever won the races.

Tim’s favorite meal was liver & onions but specifically when made by his sister Sharon when she would come to visit.

Although Timothy was a jokester, he had a loving side. He tried to be a great friend to everyone and willing to help someone out.

His love for music would have made him a winning contestant on any music-related game show. His favorite group was The Beatles and his 70’s & 80’s music.

He is survived by: his wife Dianne Bleau; his children, Craig Dell; Maxine Bleau, Sydney Bleau, Katie Latterell (companion Steve Corron),  Kyle Latterell and wife Jamie; his grandchildren, Blair Bleau, Jordon Corron, Alyssa Corron, Shelby Companion, and Blake Companion; his Siblings, Robert Eugene Bleau (wife Lorraine), Sharon Molitor (aka sissy), Sherman Bleau, Norma Jean Companion (husband Edward), Norman Leo Laramee, Jr.; his cat Chloe; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins, special mention of brother in laws, Steve Starr, and Chris Caples, and Uncle Marcel Laramee & wife Doris.

He is predeceased by his parents, Sherman Bleau Sr. and Phyllis Manning Bleau Laramee; stepfather, Norman Leo Laramee, Sr. ; siblings Robert Earl Bleau, Pamela Nichols, and Donna Blow; and a special caretaker of 10 years Albert “Butch” Ruel.

Timothy’s wife Dianne would like to extend a special thank you to the Home Dialysis Program of UVM and the Essex Police and Essex Rescue.

Timothy’s siblings would like to thank Dianne for her dedication, love and care she gave to Timothy during their marriage and especially during his sickness.

Dianne wants to thank the home dialysis program and vascular team of UVM, and the Essex Police, Fire, and Rescue.
