Robert J. Gordon

Milton -Robert J Gordon, 84, passed away November 25, 2021 at home surrounded by his loving family. Robert was born on August 10, 1937 in Burlington, Vermont and was a son of the late Walter Gordon and the late Nila (Sherman) Gordon. He married Madge Lockerby on October 31, 1959 in Burlington. Robert was a driver for UPS for over 29 years retiring in 1995. He enjoyed bowling, although his wife was the better bowler, horseshoes and spending time at Akwesase Mohawk Casino. He was a member of the Eagles Club in Milton. He is survived by: his children, Judith Harlow (John), of Fort Myers, FL, Michael Gordon, of Milton, VT, Joanne Gordon (Jason), of Milton, VT; his grandchildren, Dustin Paquette and Michael Gordon, II.; his brother Harry Gordon of Burlington; and his in laws, Phylis Richardson of Grand Isle, Jim Lockerby of Swanton and Lyn Lockerby of St. Albans. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his wife Madge Gordon, his parents, Walter and Nila Gordon, his sister Frances Gordon and his 2 brothers Walter Gordon and Clifford Gordon. Visitation will be held on November 30, 2021 5-7 in the Minor Funeral Home with a service at 7PM. Burial will take place in Milton Village Cemetery on December 1, 2021 at 11AM.
