Randy Paquette, a beloved carpenter and dedicated family man, passed away peacefully on August 22, 2024, at the age of 59. Born on December 3, 1964, in Burlington, Vermont. Randy built not only houses with his skilled hands but also a legacy of love that will endure through his cherished family and friends.
With a career that spanned decades, Randy was a true craftsman known for his attention to detail and passion for creating homes filled with warmth and character. His talent extended beyond carpentry; he was a fun-loving person who had an infectious zest for life. He embraced every moment, always eager to lend a hand to those in need and to spread joy wherever he went.
Randy was the Founder and President of the Tazmanian Devils RC. A non profit for the benefit of children as well as a member of the Green Mountain Four Wheel Drive Club. Where he could often be found indulging in his favorite pastime of mud trucking. His adventurous spirit and enthusiasm for life endeared him to many, but it was his role as a papa that filled his heart with the greatest joy. He loved his grandchildren deeply, and they were the center of his universe.
Randy is survived by his loving wife, Bernadette Paquette; his beloved children, Courtney Duffy and her husband Dylan, along with their children Bentley and Khennede; Cody Paquette and his three children, Lillyanna, Caydence, and Cody Paquette Jr.; Scott Seagroves and his partner Sarah and their child Cora; Patrick Seagroves; Christopher Seagroves and his child Sky; Anthony Seagroves and his children Amberlee, Wyatt, Ashlynn, Maggie, and Anthony Seagroves Jr.; Alex Seagroves and his daughter Samantha; Heather Francis and her husband Tyler and their children Abby, Maddison, Gracelynn; and Oran Lamphere Jr. Each of these individuals, along with countless friends, carries forward Randy's kindness, adventurous spirit, and love for life.
He was predeceased by his parents Lionel Paquette and Marlene (Begins) Paquette and his grand daughter Carissa Jo Francis.
A visitation to honor Randy’s life will be held on August 30, 2024, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Minor Funeral and Cremation Center located at 237 Route US-7, Milton, VT 05468. It is an opportunity for those who knew and loved him to gather in remembrance and celebrate the profound impact he had on so many lives.
Randy Paquette's life was a tapestry woven with love, laughter, and service to others. He will be deeply missed, yet his spirit will live on through the many lives he touched and the memories shared.
