Obituary of Neoma "Lee" Paquette
Milton - Neoma June "Lee" Paquette, 78, died peacefully on Thursday December 15, 2016 at the Vermont Respite House in Colchester following a courageous battle with cancer.
Lee was born on September 11, 1938 in St. Johnsbury, VT, the daughter of the late George and Lucille (LeClaire) Murray.
She had worked for IBM for many years and as a prep cook for several restaurants in the Burlington area as well as for the Country Pantry in Fairfax, all before retiring in July of this year.
Lee loved watching the Dallas Cowboys, NASCAR races and had a strong affection for cows and all animals, as she leaves 4 birds, 1 fish and her feline friend Shadow.
She is survived by her sister-in-law Nola Murray, her niece Emilie Levesque and her daughter Haley, her nephew Kenneth Murray, all of Townsend, MA, her dear friends Donna and Wayne King of Cambridge, Suzanne and Todd Bohen of Milton and Barbara and David Joachim of Essex and neighbors Liz Harper, Eric and Karen Myers, and William LaBelle who helped with all her animal care. She was predeceased by her parents and her brother Olen Murray.
Special thanks is given to Dr. Sanders, Kristen Tuttles and staff of the Oncology Dept. and the Doctors and staff at the Vermont Respite House in Colchester for the excellent care given to Lee during the final month of her life.
A graveside service will be held in the Milton Village Cemetery in the spring.
