Mildred Ruby Wells

Mildred Ruby Wells of Milton, 103, passed away August 11, 2022, in Dover-Foxcroft, ME Mildred was born on May 30,1919 in Milton, VT, the daughter of the late William Lamphere and Ruby (Chase) Lamphere. In 1936 she and her late husband Silas Wells, Sr. became married in Milton, Vt. They were happily married for 28 years until his passing. Mildred was a cook in the Milton public school system for most of her working life. She is survived by her daughter Trudy Miner (Richard) of Florida; daughter-in-law Gail Wells of South Carolina; her grandchildren, Robin Brisson Cote (Michael) of Massachusetts, Robert Brisson (Laurie) of Milton VT, Kim Miner of Florida, Richard Miner Jr or Florida, Melissa Wells (Kerri) Of Maine, Silas Wells III (Jennifer) of South Carolina; 7 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren; her Siblings, Mrs. Esther Aikey or Colchester, VT, and Mrs. Beatrice Bryant of Springfield, VT; and many nieces and nephews. She will be missed by all of her friends at 40 Benning Circle in Milton where she resided for 30 years. She is predeceased by her husband Silas Wells, Sr. ; mother, Ruby Chase Lamphere; father, William Lamphere; daughter Beverly Brisson; son Silas Wells Jr; and grandson, William Brisson A committal service will be held Friday, August 19th at 11am at St. Ann's Cemetery.
