Mark Thomas Leavitt

Mark Thomas Leavitt, 61, born on March 22nd, 1963, to Gerald L. Leavitt and Monica B. [Brennan] Leavitt, passed away on January 9th, 2025, at the University of Vermont Medical Center.

Mark graduated from Burlington High School in 1981, a milestone that set the tone for a life filled with enjoyment and adventure. He was known for his love of fishing, often spending hours by the water, rod in hand, laughter floating in the breeze. Mark also found great delight in bowling, often gathering with friends and family for friendly competitions that would echo with laughter and supportive cheers. 

He is survived by his siblings; Gwen (Peter) King of Milford, ME, and Mike (Lisa) Leavitt of Colchester. His nieces and nephews; Katie King, Molly King, Brad Trkulja and Brittany Sawtelle. As well as many more friends and family. 

Mark is predeceased by his parents, Gerald and Monica Leavitt.  

A committal service will be held in the spring of 2025 at the Lakeview Cemetery in Burlington.
