Margaret "Peggy" Beloin

Georgia-Margaret “Peggy” Beloin, 71, passed away peacefully, June 20, 2023, with her loving family by her side.  

Peggy was born March 5, 1952, in Middlebury, VT, the daughter of Donald Desrocher and Marion (Blaise).

She married Denis Beloin June 3, 1989, at Our Lady of Grace Church in Colchester.

Peggy owned, operated, and was a cosmetologist at Pleasant Valley Hairstyling in Underhill, and spent many years doing hair for patients and staff at the Medical Center Hospital of Vermont.

She loved camping all local campgrounds. She favorited Maple Leaf Campground in Fairfax and Moose River Campground in St. Johnsbury. Peggy enjoyed crafting and crocheting and always made the most beautiful gifts for everyone.

She is survived by: her husband of 34 years, Denis Beloin; her children, Tammy Russell and husband Craig of Monkton, Chris Beloin and wife Missy of Jeffersonville, and Bonnie DuBois and husband Joe of Georgia; grandchildren, Jonathan, Mikalah, Gabriel, Brooklyn, Piper, and Taylor; siblings, Donald Desrocher of Leister, Judy Cloutier of Rutland, Larry Desrocher of Shoreham, and Betsy Guptill of Cornwall.

 She is predeceased by her parents, Donald and Marion Desrocher; her granddaughter, Bristol Houghten; and her sister, Sandra Dragon.  

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, July 1, 2-4pm, at the Minor Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Milton. Peggy’s family is asking that everyone wear red in her honor.
