Lynn C. Soule

North Hero – It is with great sadness that we have to announce the passing of Lynn C. Soule. She passed away peacefully at home with her family and friends present.

She was born on May 27^th, 1946, in Burlington, VT, to Joyce & Harvey “Buster” Chamberlain. Lynn was a lifelong resident of the Islands. 

On February 20^th, 1965, she married the love of her life and true ‘soulemate’, Ralph “Butch” David Soule. They had two children, Kelly (Murdock) and David. Life was always an adventure with Lynn around. 

She was an Executive Assistant in Information Services at UVM Medical Center for 2+ decades. Lynn was also a proud member of the Green Mountain Rug Hooking & The ‘Queen’ of the Champlain Fiber Bees. She loved telling people that she was a “hooker” and would say “I’m a hooker! Rug hooker that is!” She created many beautiful rugs.

Lynn was a friend that anyone would be fortunate to have and was always there for you when needed. She had many friends that were considered family, we wish we could name them all.

She leaves behind her ‘soulemate’; Ralph “Butch” David Soule of 58 years. Children; Kelly (Jeff) Murdock, Dave (Marie) Soule. Brother; Larry (June) Chamberlain. Grandchildren; Tom (Lain) Murdock, Zac Murdock. And many nieces, nephews and close friends.

We would like to extend a heartful “thank you” to: Jane Straiton and Kathy O’Donnell for all that you did for us in our time of need.
We would also like to extend a heartfelt “thank you” to all her friends that helped out and were there when needed. 

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

We will love and miss you always.
