Louise Mowry passed away on February 5 at the age of 90 at the McClure Miller Respite House in Colchester, VT. A resident of Hope, Rhode Island for most of her life, she was the beloved wife of the late Sheldon Mowry. The daughter of the late Wilfred and Alice (Piszcz) Noel, she is survived by her four children: Alice Normandin and her husband Jon of Burlington, VT; Linda Perlstein and her husband Andy of St. Johnsbury VT; Judy Mowry of Whitman, MA and Tom Mowry and his wife Regan of South Portland, ME. She is also survived by her six grandchildren Sarah Normandin, Ryan Perlstein, Ivy Dubuc and Hope, Cooper and Eli Mowry and two great grandchildren Auggie Cole and Riley Dubuc.. She was the sister of Thomas Noel of Coventry, RI and the late Yvonne Santille, Muriel Rossi and Joseph and Roland Noel.
A devoted and loving wife for more than 60 years, she was also a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who enjoyed working in her yard, discovering local history, tracing the family's genealogical roots and doing Sudoku puzzles.
Due to the pandemic, a private graveside burial service will be held at SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Coventry. A celebration of her life is planned for later in 2021.
