Linda Wuensch

Colchester-Linda Wuensch, 71, of Milton passed away peacefully June 8^th, 2023 surrounded by her loved ones at a camp overlooking the lake. Linda was born on January 15^th, 1952 in Burlington, Vermont, a daughter of Thelma(Hood) and Donald K Alderman, Sr. She was the oldest of 7 children who spent most of their upbringing in Milton.

She married David A Wuensch on April 18^th, 1987 in the United Methodist church in Winooski.  

Linda had a love for people; therefore, she was a sales manager for various retail outlets. Linda loved nothing more than being a nana and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She had a love for music, liked sitting in the sun, and a passion for anything and all-family!  Linda was a feisty woman whose soft side was brought out by her soaps and hallmark movies.

She is survived by: her husband David A. Wuensch, her children, Angela Filion, Elizabeth Sirrico and her husband Michael, and David J. Wuensch and his fiancé Marcie Nash all from Milton, her grandchildren, Mira Filion, Jaxon and Asher Sirrico, and Brayden Nash-Wuensch; her siblings, Thelma Trayah and her husband Bill of Milton, Brian Alderman of Arizona, Jeff Alderman of Essex Junction and Vicky Blondin and her husband Michael of Milton. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews who she shared many fond memories with.

She is predeceased by her parents Thelma and Donald Alderman, her siblings Roland Alderman and Donald Alderman, Jr. She is also predeceased by her sister-in-law Linda Czech Alderman, wife of Brian.

The family would like to thank all of the dedicated staff at UVM Medical Center who provided her care during her courageous desire to fight for her life.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, June 14^th, 2023 4PM-6PM with a service at 6 PM in the Minor Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Milton.  Burial will be private. Please join family members in celebrating Linda’s life on Thursday June 15^th at the Eagles Club in Milton from 3-6:00 PM. All attending the services are encouraged to wear purple in honor of her favorite color.
