Elmore - Laurie Ann. Buckbee, 56, died unexpectedly on Monday November 23, 2020 at the Copley Hospital in Morrisville following a long illness.

Laurie was born in Syracuse, New York on June 25, 1964, the daughter of Roger and Theresa (Quatrini) Buckbee.

She attended St. Johnsbury Academy and graduated from Milton High School in 1984.

As a formal career, she worked at the Fletcher Allen Hospital as a Hemodialysis Technician but her true love was in being an EMT, which she did for a number of years with Milton Rescue. She also enjoyed spending time with her nephews who she thought of as her own children.

She is survived by her brothers Brent Buckbee and his wife Brenda of St. Albans and Brian Buckbee and his wife Lori of Colchester, and by her nephews Ryan Buckbee of Swanton and Matthew Buckbee of Colchester.

She was predeceased by her parents, Roger in 2007 and Theresa in 2010.
