Kenneth John Babin Jr., 83, passed away peacefully on January 24,2025 at the McClure Respite House in Colchester. Born on July 3, 1941, at Mary Fletcher Hosptial in Burlington. Vermont. Kenneth was the beloved son of the late Kenneth Babin Sr. and Dorothy Babin. He was also predeceased by his brother, Robert Babin.

Kenneth is survived by his loving sister, Betty J. Branch of St. Albans, Vermont; his niece, Summer Capra; and his nephews, Justin Branch, Eric Babin, and Darren Babin.

Ken worked as a custodian at Burlington High School for over 20 years, where he was known for his dedication and kindhearted nature. A simple man, Ken found joy in life’s little things and always believed in brightening someone’s day. “If I made one person smile each day, I did my job,” he often said.

In his leisure time, Ken loved spending evenings at bingo, where he made many friends. He also had a passion for tending to his home, taking great pride in maintaining a beautiful yard. In his younger years, he enjoyed fishing and hunting, hobbies that brought him peace and connection to nature.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Ken’s bingo friends for their visits and support, and to the staff at the McClure Respite Home for their compassionate care during his final days.

There will be no services at this time.
