Obituary of Kathy Lee Tatham

North Hero - Kathy Lee Tatham, 60, passed peacefully on April 3, 2019 at home with her loving husband by her side, after a long, courageous battle against cancer.

Kathy was born on December 14, 1958 in Gloucester Massachusetts, the daughter of William and Mary Lou (Rust) Hubbard.

Throughout her years, Kathy was a competitive gymnast, and avid tennis player, having coached and instructed for many years. She was a yoga enthusiast and enjoyed spending time with her dogs, gardening, baking and trying new recipes in the kitchen.

During her years of recovery following her first cancer treatments, Kathy enjoyed spending time in nature, taking many long hikes on Massachusetts trails with her husband Andy and their dog Tippy. They continued their outdoor adventures together after moving to Vermont, exploring the mountains and lakes as well as the beautiful Champlain Islands where they made their home together.

Spending time with her children, Dave and Jenn, when and where she could, were some of the best times for Kathy; she loved them with all of her heart. Dave and Jenn both played tennis during high school and college, having learned the sport at a young age from their Mom. Kathy loved watching them play, and attended most of their matches.

In addition to her husband Andrew "Andy" Tatham, she is survived by her father William Hubbard of FL, her son David Zastrow of Brooklyn, NY, her daughter Jennifer Zastrow of Manchester, NH, her brother Bill Hubbard of FL, her sisters Jane Vincent and Lisa Blackburn, both of FL, LouAnn McGloughlin of NH and Carolyn Ryan of ME.

She was predeceased by her mother Mary Lou in 1991.
