Jeffrey Dale Alderman, born on November 18, 1961, in Burlington, Vermont, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on November 11, 2024, in the same beloved city. Throughout his life, Jeffrey distinguished himself as a dedicated carpenter, skillfully excelling at his trade and earning the respect of those who worked alongside him.
Known for his fun-loving spirit and strong work ethic, Jeffrey brought laughter and joy to everyone around him. His quick wit humorous one-liners were a hallmark of his personality, making him a beloved figure among friends and family alike. His passion for sports was evident; he was a fan of the Boston Bruins, Celtics, Red Sox, and the Denver Broncos, often sharing his “WICKED” love for these teams with others.
Jeffrey leaves behind his “OSSUM” children, Jessica Mongeon and her husband Jeffrey and their two children, Aria and Easton Mongeon and Kenneth Alderman, who carry forward his legacy of love and laughter. He is also survived by his siblings: Thelma Trayah and her husband Bill, Vicky Blondin and her husband Michael, Brian Alderman and his brother in law David Weunsch.
He was predeceased by his parents, Thelma and Donald Alderman, along with his siblings Linda Weunsch, Donald Alderman, Jr., Roland Alderman, and his sister in law Linda Czech Alderman.
Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM with sharing stories or memories beginning at 4:30PM in the Minor Funeral and Cremation Center, 237 Route US-7, Milton, VT 05468. A celebration of life will also be held at the Park Place Tavern on Sunday, November 17, 2024 4PM-7PM in Essex Junction. Please wear a jersey in his honor to the services. As we remember Jeffrey, we celebrate the warmth, humor, and unwavering spirit he brought into our lives. He will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him “swear to it".
