Janet Gallup

June 10, 1933 — April 10, 2025

Milton

Janet Gallup, daughter of Ernest and Mary Anjer, a spirited and loving soul, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family. Born and raised in Massachusetts, Janet was a proud graduate of St. Mary’s Catholic School, where she began a life rooted in faith, kindness, and community.

A self-proclaimed shopaholic with an eye for a good deal, Janet lived life with a spark that made her unforgettable. Her spunky personality shined through in everything she did—whether it was playing cards and board games with friends and family, diving into a challenging puzzle, or sharing a laugh around the kitchen table.

Janet’s love knew no bounds. She devoted herself to helping raise her grandchildren, and caring for many other children over the years, leaving a legacy of warmth, guidance, and unconditional love.

From dinner at Susan and John’s, maple chicken with Linda, attending church with Mike, or playing Five Crowns with Laurie and Bob, family was always at the center of her life. She loved watching her great-grandchildren's events, and their faces lit up whenever they spotted her in the crowd.

She will be deeply missed but forever remembered for her vibrant spirit, loving heart, and the joy she brought into the lives of all who knew her.

She leaves behind her loving children: Susan (John) Mailhotte, Mike Milo, and Laurie (Bob) L’Ecuyer. Janet was the proud grandmother of 14, great-grandmother of 22, and great-great-grandmother to one cherished child.

Janet is now reunited with her beloved husband, Ross Gallup; her daughter, Linda Baillargeon; and her stepdaughter, Diane Gallup.

Her family extends heartfelt thanks to all the friends and relatives who have shown their love and support during this time, and a special thank you to Bayada Hospice for the incredible care and compassion they provided.

All are invited to gather to celebrate Janet’s life.
