Milton, VT--Irvin E. "Buddy" Prim, 80, the husband of Starr Prim, passed away September 27, 2021 at his residence with his loving family by his side. Irvin was born on October 14, 1940 in Burlington, VT, the Son of Seymour Prim and Rejean (Brault) Prim. He married Starr Walker on December 13, 1969 at the former Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Burlington. Upon graduating High School, he joined the US Air Force. After his service, Irvin was a Machine Operator at Harbor Industries for many years, and also was employed by Triangle Metal Fabricators for over 20 years. He was an avid outdoorsman, hunting, and fishing are a few of the things he was well known for. Come every fall he was chasing the elusive deer. In warmer weather, he would be riding his Harley or boating. However, anytime of the year, was a good time for a joke or two! If a joke was played on you, you were family. If you heard his joke, you were considered friends for life. He is survived by: his spouse of 51 years Starr Prim his children, Kimberly (Yancy) Martell of South Hero, Jennifer (Tadd) Daily of Richmond, Autumn (partner-Dwight) Prim of Starksboro; his grandchildren, Dylan (Cara) Martell, Hannah (Logan)Whitham, Hailey Roberts, Sierra Roberts, Kahleesi Berby; his great-grandchildren, Harrison Whitham, Lila Martell, Ada Martell; his Siblings Sye (Shari) Prim of New York, Timothy (Sue) Prim of Burlington, and Pamela (Jack) Beaudry of Pennsylvania and several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his father, Seymour Prim and mother, Rejean Prim. Per his wished all services were held privately, with the burial in St. Ann Cemetery.
