Holly Millette

Holly Millette was born December 2, 1980, at CVH in Berlin VT to Jeffrey Millette and Joyce Tetreault-Dery. She passed away Saturday September 7, 2024, at UVM Medical Center.

A Spirited individual, Holly was known for her fierce yet caring personality. She had a unique ability to blend her clever sense of humor with an infectious warmth.

Holly is survived by her loving husband Jesse Scheidegg and their sons Leo Millette, Elijah Scheidegg and bonus daughter Shaylee Peters. Her parents Joyce Tetreault- Dery, Jeffrey Millette and stepmom Sharon Smith. Her older brother Lewis Millette, Younger sister Gabrielle Larrabee and her partner Joe Pratt and their 2 daughters Adrianaa Pratt and Fiona Pratt. Her Aunt Paula Hanson, Uncle Richard Tetreault and his partner Lauralea Curavoo, Aunt Drucilla Blay as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends.

Holly is predeceased by her grandparents Emma and Leo Millette and Ruby and Lewis Tetreault, Her Stepfather Martin Dery, Aunt Janice and Uncle Albert Stacey and her Aunt Cindy Tetreault.

Professionally Holly worked many years at BCBS in Berlin VT, where her intelligence and commitment brought comfort and reassurance to all who interacted with her. In work and in life alike, her resourcefulness and savvy shone through, often complemented by her sarcasm and sharp wit.

Holly was an adventuress at heart, embracing life with unmatched enthusiasm. Her spirit was so free that she hitchhiked twice across the country, a testament to her love for exploring new horizons and seeing the beauty that life had to offer.

Holly was a beloved soul who graced the world with her vibrant spirit and unwavering love. Those who knew Holly understood that her vivacity was matched only by her love for her family and her adoration for her feline companions.

In this time of sorrow, we find solace in celebrating Holly’s extraordinary life and the joy she shared with us. A visitation will be held September 28th, 2024, from 11am to 1pm followed by a Funeral Service at 1pm. Both services will be held at The Minor Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Milton VT. A gathering will commence at her sister Gabrielle Larrabee’s house immediately following.

Holly will be deeply missed but never ever forgotten for she lives in all that she loved and who had loved her.
