Glenna Agnes Soavi

Milton--Glenna Agnes Soavi, 84, passed away peacefully at her home the morning of November 1, 2022. Glenna was born on April 17th, 1938, in Bristol, VT, the daughter of Louis Smith and Greta Bedell. On October 18th, 1957, she married Albert J. Soavi in Cumberland, MD. A resident of Milton for the past 52 years. Glenna and Albert moved to Milton from Richmond in 1970. Glenna took great pride in her role as a wife and mother. Her family meant everything to her. When she wasn't spending time with her grandchildren, she enjoyed several hobbies: cooking, knitting, reading, playing cards, cribbage, and doing crafts. Glenna gave back to the community every year by knitting hats to donate to the community center. Glenna will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her children, Lynn Soavi, Greg (Janet) Soavi; her grandchildren, Hope Degnan of Tucson, AZ and Amber Labbe of Phoenix, AZ; her great-grandchildren, Kadence Mattern and Cheyenne Mattern of Vail, AZ; her Siblings Richard (Sandy) Smith of Port Henry, NY, Ardith Hayden of Northbrookfield, MA, Jean Ratta-Roberts of Colchester, VT and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Glenna is predeceased by her spouse, Albert Soavi; father, Lewis Smith; mother, Greta Bedell; sister; Harlene Cheeseman, and son, George Soavi. Visiting hours will be held on Friday, November 11, 2022, from 5-7pm, with a funeral service beginning at 7PM. Burial will take place on Saturday November 12 at 10:00AM in St Ann Cemetery.
