George Maynard

 Colchester --George Maynard, 80, passed away April 30, 2023 at his residence.

 George was born on September 10, 1942 in Burlington, the son of Marie and Joseph Maynard. 

 He married Donna Gadue on June 17, 1993 in Burlington.

 George was employed by University of Vermont as a janitor for many years. He was a simple but yet kind loving man. He enjoyed fishing and in his younger years enjoyed biking with his nieces and nephews. He will always be remembered for his quick wit and humor.

 He is survived by: his spouse Donna of 29 years,  his children, James Maynard and his wife Cindy of Grand Isle, and Charles Maynard and his wife Sue of Grand Isle; four  grandchildren, his sister Pam Maynard of Arizona.

 He is predeceased by his parents Marie and Joseph Maynard and his sister Sandy Maynard.

Per his request, services will be held privately.
