"Farewell to Funky Frank" Burlington, VT--Frank Raenden , 88, passed away February 22, 2022 at University of Vermont Medical Center. Frank, aka "Pop", was born in Staten Island NY, on December 12, 1933. He attended New York University and received his degree in Real Estate. Frank moved around his entire life, living and working in many locations across Canada and the United States and finally retiring in the Lake Champlain Islands. A lifelong salesman in corporate real estate, and then eventually in antiques during his retirement. For the last twenty years of his life, his main love and passion was for his three grandchildren. A special thank you to all of his close friends and merchants in the islands, where Frank would stop, chat, consume, and sometimes annoy, on a daily basis.........Wally's, Hero's Welcome, Pan's pizza, C.I.D.E.R., garage sales, farmer's markets and auctions. A very special thank you to Mike Shaw, who took such good care of Frank over the years, and provided companionship and friendship during the long lonely winter months. He is survived by: His children, Leslie (Scott) Raenden and Andrew (Julie) Raenden; and his grandchildren, Chloe, Ben, and William.
