It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Elliot Caldwell on Friday February 21, 2025, a beloved son, brother, friend, and devoted outdoors-man. Elliot was born a twin, sharing a unique bond with his twin brother Lukas, a bond that shaped his life and brought him immense joy. He cherished traveling the world with his family, embracing the richness of diverse cultures and creating lasting memories through their many adventures together.
Elliot was a true "jack of all trades," blessed with a wealth of knowledge instilled by his father, whom he regarded as "the smartest man he knew." After dedicating many years working alongside his father, Elliot made his mark at Stowe Mountain Resort, where he ultimately became the manager of bar services. His passion for the outdoors was evident in everything he did; he particularly excelled at skiing and spent countless hours hiking and snowshoeing throughout Lamoille County and beyond. He enjoyed a diverse array of things, including soccer, hockey, playing pool, bow hunting and the Montreal Canadiens.
With a calming demeanor, Elliot was a joy to be around. His presence brought comfort and laughter to those he loved. As a family, the loss of Elliot feels insurmountable, yet they are grateful for the wonderful time they shared with him. He will be dearly missed, especially by his twin brother, Lukas.
Elliot is survived by his parents; James Caldwell of Hyde Park and Michelle Caldwell of Morrisville, his brother; James II and his wife Jessica Caldwell of Wolcott, Lukas Caldwell and his partner Lydia Brown of Hyde Park, his grandparents Kevin and Sandra Gauthier "Ma and Papa" of Colchester, Norma Stancliffe of Morrisville, step sister Logan Greene of Morrisville, aunts, uncles and cousins and many special people in his life including Robin Greene and Greg Young.
He is predeceased by, his grandfathers Gary L "Buddy" Caldwell, and George Stancliffe, his great grandmother Esther Aikey "Gigi".
Visiting hours will be held at the Minor Funeral and Cremation Center in Milton on Friday, February 28, 2025 5-8PM. A funeral service will take place on Saturday at 11 AM in the Minor Funeral Home and Cremation Center.
