Dwayne James Cormier

Dwayne James Cormier, age 56, of North Hero passed away unexpectedly at home Sunday morning, October 16th 2022. Dwayne was born on August 28th 1966 in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana, Dwayne is predeceased by his father Earl Cormier, his mother Yvonne Ybarzabal and his sister Laura Cormier. He will be greatly missed by his wife Pamela Cuneo, his children Jonathan, Sarah and Ryan Cormier, and his siblings Diana Cormier, Pam Ducet, George Cormier, Cheryl Camann, and Yvette Cormier. Dwayne moved to Vermont in 1989. He worked as a farrier and master electrician. He created his own business D.C. Energy Innovations in North Hero, in 2001. Dwayne was extremely proud serving his community as a member of the North Hero Volunteer Fire Department for over twenty years. Dwayne also volunteered his time to the North Hero Historical Society, North Hero School, and The Great Ice where he loved driving his Zamboni. In his free time Dwayne enjoyed walking and dancing with his wife. He was a master tinkerer, problem solver, and electronics enthusiast. A memorial service will be held at the North Hero Community Hall, 3483 US-2, North Hero, VT 05474 On Sunday, October 23, 2022 beginning at 1 PM.
