DOROTHY BETZ August 1, 2022 Dorothy Betz, 82, of Milton, VT, passed away on August 1, 2022 at McCLure Miller Respite House surrounded by her loving family. Dorothy was born in 1940 in Jersey City, NJ, the daughter of Chester and Anna. Dorothy was an administrative assistant at Rutland Public Schools. She also enjoyed working at The Palms Restaurant in Rutland, and when she moved to Morristown, NJ, she worked in social services. Her Catholic faith was an incredibly important pillar in her life. Dorothy was a parishioner of St. Ann’s Parish in Milton and the Immaculate Heart of Mary in Rutland. She is survived by her children, Lorraine (Robert) Kelm of Milton, VT, Art (Sharon) Betz of Silverdale, WA, and Suzanne (Scott) Davis of North Clarendon, VT; her brother, Thomas (Anne) Zarzecki of West Milford, NJ, and sister, Barbara Ellermann (Kenneth) of Morristown, NJ; her grandchildren, Casey Salo-Betz, Christopher Kelm, and Nicholas Kelm; sister-in-law, Lee Ann Betz and Bette Jo (Rick) Davis; as well as cousins, nieces, nephews, and several very dear friends. She is predeceased by her parents. There will be a funeral Mass at St. Ann’s in Milton on Friday, August 5, 2022 at 11:00 AM, followed by a committal service at St. Ann’s Cemetery. A Light luncheon will be provided in St. Ann’s Hall after the service.
