Donna H. Morisseau

Donna H. Morisseau, a beloved figure in the Milton community, passed away on September 19, 2024 in Milton, at the age of 83. She was born on August 27, 1941, in Burlington, to her parents Donald and Mildred Hathaway.

Donna dedicated a significant part of her life to her career, having worked for many local delis and stores. Her commitment to her work was matched only by the warmth she shared with everyone around her, earning her the reputation of being a friend to all. Donna's kindness and community spirit endeared her to many, who will remember her not just for her work, but for the love she imparted in every interaction.

Beyond her professional commitments, Donna was an active member of the United Church of Milton and was involved with the Milton Senior Center. These affiliations provided her with lasting friendships and enriched her life in countless ways.

Donna is survived by her loving family, including her son, Donald, and daughter-in-law, Debra; her son, Steve; Jennifer Morisseau, as well as her grandchildren, Ryan and his wife Jess, Kelly, Natasha, Jennie, Stephanie, and Samantha. She also leaves behind her sister and brother-in-law, Linda and James Ryan and their daughter Lori and her husband Jack Darling, who shared many cherished moments with her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray, her son, Bobby, and her nephew Michael Ryan, whose memories will remain a precious part of her legacy. Donna's vibrant spirit and the connections she fostered will continue to resonate in the hearts of those fortunate enough to know her. The community she loved will miss her dearly, and her memory will live on in the stories and lives she touched.

Services will be held at Minor Funeral and Cremation Center 237 Route 7 South Milton, VT on Wednesday September 25. Visiting hours will begin at 4 PM followed by a service at 6 PM.
