Milton, VT--Donald Leroy Adams, Jr, 64, passed away July 19, 2021 at home. Donald was born on December 16, 1956 in Waco, TX, the Son of Donald Adams, Sr and Dovie (Jones) Adams. Donald was a Taxi Driver at Quik-Cab for many years. He was a Master Mason. Among his well known skills of cooking and his love for fishing, are some lesser known hobbies of his. He enjoyed performing science experiments, time on the computer and anime. He was an Air Force Veteran having served in Dover Air Force Base in Delaware as well. He was a nondestructive inspection specialist. In addition to his mother Dovie Adams of Grande Isle, he is survived by: his son, Louis Adams, of Plattsburgh, NY; a step son Michael Thomas and his wife Kristin of Blandford, MA ; his 5 grandchildren; his siblings Eva (Jayson) Purvis, of Grand Isle, and Harold Adams of Swanton. He is also survived by his former wife Nancy Thomas of Winooski. He is predeceased by his father, Donald Adams, Sr. A graveside committal service will be held on Monday, July 26 at 11 AM in Fort Ethan Allen Cemetery in Colchester.
