Daria "Jo" Kinville, born on April 25, 1948, in Grand Prairie, Texas, departed this life on December 16, 2024, at the McClure Miller Respite House, surrounded by her loving family. Jo was a vibrant spirit whose laughter and warmth touched the hearts of everyone she met.
Throughout her life, Jo dedicated herself to her career, working at various local supermarkets, eventually rising to become the head of customer service for Price Chopper. Her time at Chittenden Bank further showcased her commitment and hard work, where she built lasting relationships with colleagues and customers alike.
Jo’s personality shined bright as a fun-loving and caring grandparent, a role she cherished deeply. She created countless precious memories with her family, particularly with her daughter Paula and her family during their joyful trips to Disney World, an experience that brought remnants of magic into their lives. An enthusiastic player of BINGO and the friendships it brought. Jo found great delight in the simple pleasures that life offered.
Jo is lovingly remembered by her three daughters, Michelle McSweeney and her husband Jack, Jessica Iler and her husband David, and Paula Bombard and her husband Paul, who admired her grace and resilience. The legacy of love continues through her three grandchildren, Chelsey McSweeney, Kailtyn Bombard, and Savannah Bombard, and her three great-grandchildren, Trevor, Jaxon, and Sieanna, who brought immeasurable joy to her heart.
Jo’s family bonds extended to her siblings, Trudy Beauchemin, Michael Calcagni, and her paternal half-sibling, Patricia McDonald, who will always carry her memory with them. Jo is reunited with her loving husband Paul Kinville, her beloved parents, Elda Florence (Walker) and Dario Joseph Calcagni, as well as her brother, Jay Calcagni, who preceded her in passing.
A visitation will be held on December 20, 2024, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Minor Funeral and Cremation Center, located at 237 Route US-7, Milton, VT Prayers will be led by Father Feltz beginning at 5:00PM. Burial will be in the spring in St. Ann Cemetery, Milton.
Jo Kinville leaves behind a tapestry of love woven through her family and friends, a testament to the light she brought into their lives. Though she may have left this world, the memories she created and the love she shared will forever remain in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
