Dan Charles Kirker, born on May 19, 1972, in Springfield, Vermont, passed away on February 16, 2025, at the University of Vermont Medical Center. Dan was a beloved son, father, and brother, whose presence will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his parents, Charles Kirker and his wife Coral Coleman of South Hero and Susan Kirker of Greenwich, CT, his children, Elizabeth Remick and John Kirker, and his siblings, Brian Kirker, Sarah McGarvey, and Kelsey Kirker.
Dan had a zest for life that was evident in all that he did. He had a passionate enthusiasm for the Dallas Cowboys, often cheering them on with a fervor that brought smiles to those around him. His love for the outdoors was expressed through his fishing excursions, where he found peace and joy in nature. Daniel was known for his commitment to service, exemplified by his role as a volunteer fireman, dedicating his time and efforts to help his community. He also cherished moments spent watching the classic television show MASH, often sharing his favorite episodes with family and friends. He was also in the Civil Air Patrol in his younger years.
In celebration of his life, a gathering will be held on February 21, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Minor Funeral and Cremation Center located at 237 Route US-7, Milton, VT 05468. This event will provide an opportunity for all who held Dan dear to come together, share their stories, and honor a life well-lived.
