Milton - Dale C. Sanderson, 62, died Thursday June 9, 2016 at the Birchwood Terrace Healthcare in Burlington.

Dale was born on October 3, 1953 in Burlington, the son of Loren and Joan (Cadreact) Sanderson. He graduated from Milton High School in 1971 and the University of Vermont in 1975. He joined IBM in 1983 and had worked there for over 30 years.

Dale married Linda Valyou on June 3, 1983 in Milton.

He was a member of the Milton Grange # 522 and was the Past State Master of the Grange. Dale also held the position as the Voting Member of the Assembly of the Meter for the National Grange.

In addition to his wife Linda, Dale is survived by his sons William Sanderson and his wife Ashleigh Belrose and Scott Sanderson, his sister Linda Ballard and her husband James, all of Milton, his sister-in-law Mary Gordon and brother-in-law Richard Valyou, both of Jericho and by 6 nieces and nephews.

Dale was predeceased by their 26 day old daughter Katie-Lynn in 1983.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday June 15th, 2016 from 4-7pm in the Minor Funeral and Cremation Center in Milton.

A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday June 16, 2016 at 11am in the United Church of Milton with burial and a Grange Service following in the Milton Village Cemetery.
