Carrie Leary

Burlington – Carrie Leary, 54 of Milton, passed away March 16, 2023, at University of Vermont Medical Center.  

Carrie was born on August 5, 1968, in Burlington, Vermont, the daughter of Harold Lafar and Janet [Provost] Lafar.  

She married the love of her life, Timothy Leary, on August 14^th, 1993.

Carrie was an environmental services worker at the Howard Center and loved her career.

She is survived by: her mother Janet LaFar, her children; Joshua Leary, Shane Leary, her brother; Stephen Lafar and partner Leslie Lavigne, her uncle; Tom Provost and partner Debbie Bouffard who loved her very much and several nieces and nephews.

 She is predeceased by her beloved husband Timothy Leary, her father; Harold Lafar, and her twin brother; Mark Lafar.  

A celebration of life will take place at a later date at the Eagles Club in Milton on March 31st at 4:00pm. A private graveside for family will happen later this Spring.
