Bernadette Marie Lapointe

Bernadette Marie Lapointe was born on February 11, 1947, in Burlington, Vermont, the third child and daughter of Eli and Theresa Lapointe.  Bernadette passed into Heaven on March 31, 2024.  Fondly known as “Bunny”, she was a great lover of Bingo and jigsaw puzzles, and other card games.  Bunny raised her two children, Theresa Benoit and Christopher Benoit in Milton, Vermont, where she lived for many years.  

Bunny was predeceased by her parents, her husband, Bernard Barron, her daughter, Theresa Benoit, her infant grandson, Skylar, and her oldest sister, Carol Boisvert and husband, Adrien P. Boisvert, as well as her dear pet, Bibbette.    Bunny is survived by her sisters, Sandra Lasnier and husband, Raymond, and Claire M. Lapointe and wife, Dr. Genevieve Stevens, as well as her son, Christopher Benoit and wife, Diane Benoit. She is survived by several grandchildren, Austin Benoit, Makayla Benoit, Cody Benoit, and Kayleigh Benoit, as well as several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.

The family wishes to thank the staff of Burlington Healthcare for their care of Bunny.  

There will be a graveside service for the immediate family.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a donation be made in honor and in memory of Bunny Lapointe.
