Milton- Ashley Turner Haupt, 41, of Milton, Vermont passed away, Tuesday April 19, 2022. Ashley was born in Burlington, Vermont on August 13, 1980. She spent most of her life living in both Florida and Vermont, and eventually graduated in Vermont where she lived with her daughter Tori Haupt, who was the light of her entire life. Ashley, survived by her mother Gail Turner Haupt, and husband Thomas Raftery of Milton Vermont. Her father Glenn Harold Haupt and wife Diane Haupt of Naples, Florida. Hannah Boone (sister), and husband Patrick Boone, and their son Hudson of Milton, Vermont. Ryan Gray (brother), of Colorado. The love of her life, Shawn Franklin, of Milton, Vermont. Her paternal grandparents Harold and Joan Haupt of Long Island. She was also survived by many aunts and uncles some including- Armand Turner, and his wife Bonnie Turner of Milton, Vermont, Theresa and Mark Bredin of North Carolina, Priscilla Abbott, and husband Matt of Richford, Gary Haupt and his wife Nora of Long, Island, New York; as well as her step aunts and uncles Kevin Raftery, and his wife Terie, Kip Raftery and wife Jane, Maureen Raftery Bourque, Karen LaRose, Kathleen Hall and partner John, Matthew Raftery and wife Tonia, John Raftery and wife Julie. Dan Raftery, and wife Carrie and Jennifer Allard, and husband Chris, as well as many cousins. Ashley, was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Armand Turner, and Mary Lahue Perry, James and Angie Raftery, and dear Aunt Anne Turner Adams of Milton, Vermont. Ashley was larger than life, and would light up any room with her beautiful smile and sassy personality. She loved with every fiber of her being, and gave everything she had to everyone around her. She lived her life without fear and if you needed someone to adventure with she was your girl. She was the kind of smart you can't find in a book, and your hope when you didn't believe in yourself. If Ashley was your friend, she was your fearless protector- she would do anything for you. She would create laughter in any room, and offer a safe place for anyone needing refuge. She was the true epitome of "the life of the party." Visiting hours will be held on Monday April 25, 2022 between the hours of 4-7 pm at Minor Funeral Home in Milton, Vermont. A funeral service will be held at 7 PM following the visiting hours. A celebration of life will be planned at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family is asking for a donation be made in Ashley's name to the Chittenden County Humane Society at https://www.hsccvt.org/. She loved her animals dearly.
