Longmont, CO--Annette Leona Anson, “Nette” 76, passed away peacefully May 21, 2023, at Boulder Community Health, Boulder, Colorado with her family by her side.
Annette was born on August 26, 1946, in Saint Johnsbury, VT, the daughter of Wilfred Baker and Ester (Howland).
She worked for the telephone company most of her working life and was the first female to become president of the New England Legal Right of Way Association. Upon moving to Colorado, Annette took a position at Icelandic Design, where she stayed employed for ten years until retirement.
Annette loved the outdoors, camping, hiking, skiing, and traveling, particularly to the White Mountains. She enjoyed butterflies and reading and had a very large personal library. Annette was known for her quick wit and spunky personality.
She is survived by her partner of 25 years, Dale Moser; her children, Ryno Paquette and companion Pat Lafond, of Milton, VT, Clinton Paquette and wife Afagh Sharifi Paquette, of Longmont, CO; her grandchildren, Samantha Lynn Paquette, Taylor Lexis Clark, and Aveen Luna Paquette; her brother, Pierre Baker; her step daughters, Shelly Diaz, Cindy Nemeth, and Barb Genier; and former husband, Stuart Paquette.
She is predeceased by her parents, Wilfred and Ester Baker, and former husband, Harold Anson.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Marcie Bigsby for all your love and support for Annette.
Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, June 25, from 4 to 6pm, with a prayer vigil immediately following, at the Minor Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Milton, VT.
A burial will take place, Monday, June 26, at 11 am in St. Ann Cemetery, Milton.
