Fairfax - Ann Marie Garafano, 65, died unexpectedly on Tuesday September 17, 2019 at her home on Mountain View St. in Fairfax.
Ann Marie was born on December 2, 1953 in Rutland, the daughter of Louis and Jennie Trepanier.
She was married to Alfred Lamotte Jr. for 25 years.
and later married Lynda Lee Lapan.
Ann graduated from the Rutland High School Class of 1971.
She studied at CCV and at the Fanny Allen Memorial School of Practical Nursing.
Ann worked at Fanny Allen in Colchester from 1980-1993. Was an evening Charge Nurse with Occupational Health and Rehab in So. Burlington and Essex Junction from 1995-1998 and as their Nurse Manager from 1998 - 2000.
Ann collected dolls and loved being on the computer researching and networking. In her younger years she loved horseback riding.
Most importantly, she loved to spend time with her family.
She is survived by her children Alfred Lamotte of KY., Tammy Langlois of Sheldon, Brenda Dube of Morrisville, Mark Lamotte & his wife Kim of Newport, Mike Lamotte & his wife Vonnie of Highgate, Lori Rushlow and her husband Art of KY, Michele Catella & her husband Gary Gillilan of Burlington, Irene Beam and her husband Gary of Connelly Springs, NC., and Karyssa Garafano - Lapan of Shelburne, by 17 grandchildren and 19 Great Grandchildren, her brothers and sisters Patrick Trepanier and his wife Sue of W. Rutland, Michele Trepanier of Wilmington, NC, Mike Trepanier and partner Monica Kellner of Colchester, and Theresa Jones and her husband Kenneth of Proctor and by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, her former husband Alfred Lamotte, and her sisters Lynn Eady and Mary Trepanier.
A Celebration of Ann's life will be held at 3pm on Saturday September 21, 2019 at the Heineberg Community Senior Center located at 14 Heineberg Road in Burlington. For those who wish, online condolences may be made to www.minorfh.com
