Andrew Mark "Andy" Collins, a cherished father, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away unexpectedly on October 4, 2024, at the age of 45. Born on September 29, 1979, in Naples, Florida. Andy lived a life filled with laughter, love, and an unwavering commitment to his family.

As a former foreman with SD Ireland, Andy demonstrated a strong work ethic and a dedication to every project he undertook. However, it was not just in his career where his true passion shone through; it was in the time he devoted to his beloved twin daughters, Abigail and Madison. A fun-loving family man, Andy took immense pride in his girls, always striving to create joyful memories that would last a lifetime. His bond with them was unbreakable, and they were the center of his world.

Family gatherings were where Andy thrived, whether it was sharing a hearty meal or enjoying the great outdoors. He found solace in deer hunting and fishing for walleye, often recounting tales of his adventures with a sparkle in his eye. The warmth of good food, the laughter of family, and the joy of being surrounded by those he loved brought him unparalleled happiness.

In addition to being a devoted father, Andy was also a loving brother and son. He is survived by his mother Vicki Collins, his brother Lee Collins and his wife Lisa, his sister Beth Langlois and her husband Brian. The bond they shared was filled with support and affection, and he took great joy in the lives of his niece Brynn Langlois, and his two nephews, Lucas Collins and Austin Langlois. The laughter they shared and the memories they created will forever be etched in their hearts. Andy was also very thankful to the mother of his children Angie Bostwick, and her daughter Mckayla Bostwick for the love and care she provided for the children, and their companionship for many years. There were many memories created watching the “lake go by” with his grandma Janet and his late Papa Bub. Andy is survived by a very large extended family. He was also predeceased by his father Dana Collins.

Andy’s infectious spirit and zest for life touched everyone around him. He had an uncanny ability to make those he encountered feel special and valued. His love for his family and friends was boundless, and he will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A funeral service to celebrate Andy's life will be held on October 12, 2024, at 10:00 AM, at the Minor Funeral and Cremation Center located at 237 Route US-7, Milton, VT. Family and friends are invited to gather and honor the legacy of a man who meant so much to so many. As we say our goodbyes, let us remember Andy’s laughter, kindness, and the love that he gave so freely.

Knowing Andy’s zest for life, and his care for people, his last act of caring for others was the gift of life through organ donation. Through the gift, he was able to change four lives for the better. In honor of Andy please consider a donation to a charity that aids in the help to fight addiction.
