Swanzey, NH – Alice Belle Clogston, 87, passed away Sunday April 18, 2021 at Genesis Keene Center in Keene, NH after a long time period of declining health. Alice was born on July 17, 1933 in Brookline, VT, the daughter of Olie Cole and Margaret (Brown) Cole. Alice was born and raised in Brookline, VT and attended Leland and Gray Seminary in Townshend, VT, graduating June 8, 1951. Alice enjoyed watching softball games at Living Memorial Park on a daily basis as well as playing bingo with family and friends. Her love for baseball as a longtime Boston Red Sox fan and a fan of local teams brought her great joy. Alice had a big heart for family, she was as always there for her son and grandchildren as well as her great grandchildren. Alice worked for the Holstein Association in Brattleboro, VT for 47 years and gained lifelong friendships there along the way. Alice enjoyed volunteering in various ways at VFW Post 1034 in Brattleboro, VT where she also made many friendships and memories. Alice will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She will always be loved and never forgotten. Alice is survived by her grandchildren, Raymond (wife Catherine) Jablonski III of Highgate Center, VT, Kimberly (Kyle Rollins) Jablonski, of Lexington, SC, Christopher (Lisa Thompson) Jablonski of Swanton VT; her great grandchildren Cristian, Wyatt, Dallas, Hudson, Chloe, and Aria. Her sister Shelba Jean Hescock of South Newfane, VT, her brother Arnold (Barbara “Tiny”) Cole of Chester, VT and her brother Carlos (Sandra) Cole of South Otselic, NY as well as many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents, Olie and Margaret Cole, her first husband Raymond Jablonski Sr., her second husband Howard Clogston, her son Raymond Jablonski Jr., her brother Francis (Elaine) Cole, her sister Eleanore (Patsy) Bennett, and her brother Ernest (Helen) Cole. Per Alice’s wishes there will be no services at this time. A celebration of life will be at a later date.
