Obituary of Ronald Arthur Papineau

~~COLCHESTER - Ronald Arthur Papineau, 55, died May 1, 2017 after the bravest of fights against cancer, surrounded in love.

Ron, who was born in Rutland, graduated from Mt. Mansfield High School, owned Fiberglass Plus in Colchester and spent well over 30 years providing quality craftsmanship in everything he did.

Survivors include his daughter, Tonya L. Poutry of North Hero, mother Patricia Vaillancourt of Lincoln, sister Katherine Mierop and husband John of Lincoln, brother Mark Papineau and Jesse of Georgia, sister MariAn Papineau and husband Jeff Swart of Richmond.

Calling hours are from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 10 at Minor Funeral Home in Milton. A celebration of Ron's life will be in early June.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the Franklin County Humane Society.
