Jacky was a hairdresser at the Fanny Allen convent and my mother who enjoyed her Canadian roots and humor. I treasure these memories of an elegant lady.
When Jacky arrived at Our Lady of Providence several years later,I reminded her of these years and she would begin to sing a note or two then giggle sheepishly. Our conversations began to be shorter and shorter but a note of song or two would bring a smile to face.
I join you in thanking God for having given her to us and taken her to her heavenly home. We return her to you Lord, with fond memories. She is no longer where she was before. She is now wherever you are holding you dear.
